Renewanation

Heritage Academy is affiliated with RENEWANATION, an organization that has as its goal to promote Christian worldview education. RENEWANATION states it this way, “Our worldview is the ‘big picture’ and culmination of all our beliefs. It is the way we understand reality and the basis from which we make daily decisions. A Christian worldview is a comprehensive understanding of the world that is formed by the authority of the Bible and the person of Jesus Christ.” N.T. Wright, a Christian writer, defines a worldview “as a way of looking at things which color our whole lives.” Our prayer is that collectively we can help our children paint their lives so that it will be said, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Heritage Academy is providing the academic setting in which students have the opportunity to grow “…in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man.” We believe as does John Mulvihill that, “Education is a powerful shaping influence in the life of every child. Every book, teacher, and curriculum has a worldview and will impact a child’s faith in Jesus.”
